LOCATING?
4 SPEED LEVER & LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT
1. Set Lever (M) (N) & (O) in neutral position.
2. Move Shift Lever (A) to neutral position & insert Locating Gage (C) into
control Lever Bracket Assembly (B)*
3. Install Reverse Rod (J) with Retainer (T) qn Lever (O)*
4. With two Jam Nuts (F) & (H) & Swivel (G) loose en Rod (J} insert & attach
Swivel (G) with Retainer (E) to Lever (D).
5* Repeat steps 3 & 4 for Rod (K) & (L).
6. Remove Ldcatmg Gage & check shift to insure proper operation*
(?) (Tj RPO M2C, M21 WITH D55
7. After removing Locating Gage (C) readjust Rod (J) by shortening the Rod
three turns by use of Jam* Nuts. Tighten to prescribed torque*
