TRANS. CONTR. LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT
U. Set Trans; Levers in "NEUTRAL" position^
2. Attach-Rods (A) & (B) to Shift Levers (E) 6 (F) with
* retainers*
3 . Use. Gage Pin (D) to lock Shift Levers (E) & (F) in
"NEUTRAL" position utilizing gage slots. See' View B.
4. Install Grommet- in Trans. Levers* Slide Swivel into
Rods (A) & (B) then loosely assemble Swivel, Clamps
y
Bushings, Plain Washers, Lockwashers and Nuts (C)
to Trans. Levers. See View A.
5. Tighten Nut (C) using recommended torque. See View A.
6. The centerlines of the Shift Lever Tangs must be within
.01 of each other and must be + 1 - 0* of horizontal
centerline after Rods (A) & (Bfare secured.
