U Loosely assemble Nuts (A) & (B) on Lower Rod (Ch
2 . Set Transmission Lever (D) in "DRIVE" position. |NOTE| Obtain "DRIVE" position by moving
transmission lever counter clockwise to low detent, then clockwise two detent positions to
3. Set Control Pawl Rod (E) in the "NEUTRAL or DRIVE*' notch of Detent (F). See View A.
4. Apply load in direction of Arrow (Y) on Actuating Lever (G) until pawl Rod comes in
contact with Detent at Contact Point (Z)

5. Run Nut (A) until it touches Swivel (H). Tighten Nut (B) against Swivel 6 lock Swivel
