Chapter 1 Installing Operating System
Select "Exit Fast!UTIL", and then press Enter.

Select "Reboot System", and then press Enter to reboot the system.

Configure CPU/IO module 1.
When the NEC logo is displayed on the screen of the display unit after the system reboots, press the
POWER switch on the front of the unit to turn off the power.
Then, disconnect all the power cords from the server.

Connect power cords in the following order to start the system from CPU/IO module 1.
(1) Connect a power cord to AC inlet B.
(2) Connect a power cord to AC inlet A.
(3) Make sure that POWER LED on each module is blinking green.

Note
Make sure that System POWER LED is unlit before disconnecting the power cord.
Note
Wait at least 15 seconds after step (1), and then perform step (2).
If you disconnect a power cord, wait for at least 30 seconds before connecting it again.
See Chapter 1 (1.2 Preparations for Setup) for AC inlet connector.
Tips
Important
Make sure that the PRIMARY LED on CPU/IO module 1 is lit.
If the PRIMARY LED on CPU/IO module 0 is lit, disconnect all the power cords from
the server. Then after wait for at least 30 seconds, perform step 4 again.
