6. When reinstalling VMware ESXi, an overwrite confirmation message appears. Move the cursor onto
[Install ESXi, overwrite VMFS datastore], press the space bar to determine it, and then press Enter.
7. When the keyboard layout selection screen appears, select your desired keyboard layout and press
Enter.
8. The root password input screen is displayed. Enter the password. Use the ↓ key or Tab key to move
to the next input field, enter the same password again, and press the Enter key.
9. When the installation confirmation screen appears, press F11 to start the installation.
10. In the [Installation Complete] screen, press Enter. The VMware ESXi Install DVD is ejected and the
server reboots.
