They must be positioned at a visible place, they must be easily dismantled and dryable, so regular
•
heat expansions may be allowed. It must have the sampling unit with the appropriate properties and
dimensions.
The outlet of wall hung boiler must have the conditions of flue duct channel being vertical and not
•
having size smaller than twice the size. The said measurements are taken from the connection point
of the discharge point. (Figure Nr. 9)
The surface beyond the vertical section must have a slope upwards with an angle of at least 3%.
•
The section with Sub-horizontal direction must be shorter than the height of H _ the duct or fume
pipe and must not be longer than 2500 mm.
The flue channel must not be subject to changes of directions accomplished with internal corners
•
larger than 90° and more than three in number. This number includes the connection to the duct
or/and fume pipe. The directional changes must only be made with the use of bracket components.
The axis of the outlet of fume channel must be vertical to the internal wall opposite to the duct or
•
fume pipe. (Figure Nr. 9). The fume channel should be fixed to the inlet of fume pipe or duct and it
should not decline inside.
The length of fume channel must be larger than the section of the connection point of device to the
•
discharge. If the duct or fume pipe has a smaller diameter than that of the fume channel then a
tapered sleeve opposite to the connection point must be used.
The fume channel should have no cutting apparatus such as a lid and if there are such apparatus,
•
then these must be taken away.
The fume channel must be at least 500 mm. away from fuel or combustible materials or/and
•
flammable materials, if the mentioned distance can not be maintained, and then a specific protector
which can stand the heat must be provided.
Only one device must evacuate through the fume channel,.
•
Figure Nr. 9
Using the fume pipes reserved for collective arms allows
the connection of ancillary pipes having a nominal heat
capacity not changing more than %30 compared to the
connectable maximum heat outcome.
The discharge of hood uptakes must either have a
common pipe reserved for arms or separate ducts for
such a purpose.
Only one boiler per floor must be connected to the
common pipe.
The maximum number of boilers that can be connected
to a common fume pipe with arms is five. Thus it can
only provide service for only a six storey building, for as
