6.10 FIRE RELAY Emergency Operations (CE)

Prerequisites
The management system reports a FIRE RELAY alarm.


Procedure
Step 1 Locate the alarm or alarm area in the management system.
Step 2 Check the situation inside the pre-fab. module in the video surveillance system.


Step 3 Check whether extinguishant has been released.


Step 4 Arrive at the site with necessary tools and communications devices as soon as possible, open
the external extinguishant control box, and press the manual gas release button on the
extinguishant control panel.




Step 5 Check whether there is an alarm on the extinguishant control panel outside the pre-fab.
module.

The following FIRE RELAY emergency operations are for reference only.
If you find a FIRE RELAY alarm when working inside a pre-fab. module, determine
whether to extinguish the fire or evacuate the area immediately based on the actual
situation, and contact the personnel on duty or fire engineer promptly.
If the situation inside the pre-fab. module is normal, go to

If extinguishant is being released, contact the local maintenance engineer or Huawei
technical support to recharge the extinguishant after the fire has been extinguished.
If no extinguishant is released, check the situation onsite, and contact the fire engineer.
Remove the yellow cover on the extinguishant control panel, press the manual gas release
button, leave the site immediately, and wait for the fire engineer to handle the situation.
If the manual gas release button does not take effect, remove the dowel of the electric
control head, press the red button on the electric control head, leave the site immediately,
and wait for the fire engineer to handle the situation.
If a pre-fab. module is on fire inside, do not enter the module or stay around the module
before the fire is extinguished.
After the fire is extinguished, clean the site and restore the systems to eliminate further fire
risks. If you have any questions, promptly contact Huawei technical support.
