Step 3 Check that the new emergency door release button is working properly.
Remove the cover of the emergency door release button using a screwdriver, press the button, and rotate
the door handle clockwise to open the pre-fab. module door. If the door can be opened, the emergency
door release button is working properly.

Remove screws securing the emergency door release button, as shown by (1) in
5-28.
Remove the glass panel of the emergency door release button, as shown by (2) and (3) in
Figure 5-28.
Remove screws securing the base, as shown by (4) in
Disconnect cables and remove the emergency door release button.
Connect cables.
Tighten screws on the base, as shown by (1) in
Install the glass panel, as shown by (2) and (3) in
Tighten screws, as shown by (4) in
