Wrap the threads with sealing tape to ensure air tightness.

Step 11 Reinstall the electric control head to the container valve of the fire cylinder.

That the ejector is not reset may lead to extinguishant release.

Step 12 Connect the interconnection terminals on the electric control head to the extinguishant control
panel.
Step 13 Switch on the input circuit breaker of the extinguishant control panel and connect the battery
cables to power on the panel.

Dispose of the removed fire cylinder that is confirmed faulty.

5.5.8 Replacing the Extinguishant Control Panel (CE)

Prerequisites
A spare extinguishant control panel of the same model is available and functional.
Impact on the System
The fire extinguishing system stops working during the replacement.
Preparations
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, protective gloves
Materials: spare extinguishant control panel
Documents: delivered with the extinguishant control panel
Skill requirement: fire engineer
Issue 04 (2018-01-05)
Connect the threaded adapter to the fire cylinder.
Connect the I-shaped connection pipe to the threaded adapter.
Connect the high-pressure hose.
Verify that the electric control head ejector is reset. If the ejector is not reset, press the
ejector.
Align the electric control head and the container valve, and tighten the electric control
head clockwise.
