2.3.1 Fundamental hazards

Any application other than or which extends beyond the intended
use is considered misuse.
WARNING!
Danger in the event of misuse!
Misuse of the assembly workstation can lead to haz-
ardous situations.
– Never use the assembly workstation or the
optional modules in potentially explosive atmos-
pheres.
– Never use the assembly workstation in areas in
which work is carried out with flammable sub-
stances (class AP/APG).
– Never use the assembly workstation outdoors.
– Never use the assembly workstation in areas with
direct contact to food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic
products.
– Never use the assembly workstation outside of the
specifications indicated in
data" on page 98.
– Never open the assembly workstation lifting
column.
– Never convert or retrofit the assembly workstation
or the optional components to change the area of
application or the usability.
CAUTION!
Tripping hazard as a result of exposed cables!
If the cables on the lifting columns are not routed prop-
erly, there is a risk of injury if persons trip or fall over
them.
– Route cables safely and properly so that tripping
hazards are prevented.
