• For tapered and straight grinding pins with
thread, use only undamaged mandrels of the
correct size and length. Suitable mandrels re-
duce the possibility of breakage.
• Avoid blocking or excessive pressure on the cut-
ting wheel. Do not make very deep cuts. Over-
loading the cutting wheel increases the load and
the chances of jamming or blocking and thus
increases the possibility of kickback or wheel
breakage.
• Avoid using your hands and any other body
parts in the area in front of and behind the
rotating cutting wheel. If you move the cutting
wheel in the work piece using your hands, the
power tool along with the rotating wheel can be
flung directly at you in case of kickback.
• If the cutting wheel is blocked or if you stop
working, switch off the device and hold it un-
til the cutting wheel stops turning completely.
Never try to pull the running cutting wheel out
of the cut. There is a risk of kickback. Identify
and rectify the cause of the blockage.
