Kickback can be avoided by taking appropriate
precautions, as described below.
• Hold the power tool firmly and move your body
and arms to a position where you can absorb
the kickback forces. The operator can control
kickback forces by taking suitable precautions.
• Work very carefully in areas with sharp edg-
es and corners, etc. Prevent the tool bits from
bouncing back from the workpiece and getting
jammed. The rotating tool bit tends to get stuck
at corners, sharp edges or when it bounces back.
This can result in loss of control or kickback.
• Do not use serrated saw blades. Such saw
blades can result in frequent kickback and loss
of control over the power tool.
