1.) Serious injury may result if proper precautions are not followed.

30 day requested period, packaging costs will be incurred by the customer. 1) Place the 0100 hard drive crusher on a strong and sturdy surface such as a work table or SEM’s optional heavy duty stand. The Model 0100 hard drive crusher must be bolted down on a work table or SEM’s option heavy duty stand.

5) The machine is now ready to operate. Warning: While operating the Model 0100 hard drive crusher, pieces of material will break and can potentially become airborne due to the force. See your internal safety officer and ask about your PPE for area of operation.
2) Pull the handle down until it punctures the hard drive. Do not force the handle once it stops. Note: Anvil will not penetrate through the entire hard drive. The Model 0100 hard drive crusher pierces and deforms hard drives to disable the drive.
5.) Change Settings and Maintenance 5.1 Chaniging the Angle of the Handle 1) Remove the handle using the 5mm Hex L-Key. (Figure A) 2) Loosen set screw on shaft collar with M6 Allen wrench then remove. (Figure B) 3) Pull shaft out until the teeth are no longer engaged. (Figure C) Figure A 4) Lift anvil to desired height.
5.2 Replacing or Removing the Anvil 1) Lift handle so anvil is clear of any obstructions. 2) Lock down the center bolts with the jam nuts on them using a 5/8” wrench. 3) Remove anvil using a large adjustable wrench. Do not lose the lock washer on the top of the anvil, as this must be put back on anvil.
