Inbetriebnahme
1. Betätigen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 1
(siehe Abb. A).
Die Status-LED des Ein-/Ausschalters leuchtet
grün. Der Stößel des Schlauchquetschventils
fährt zurück und wieder vor. Bei erfolgreichem
Abschluss dieses Selbsttests wird ein
akustisches Bereitschaftssignal ausgegeben
(siehe Abschnitt 9.1 – Akustische Signale).

HINWEIS: Wenn nach dem Einschalten
des Gerätes die Status-LED des Ein-/
Ausschalters 1 dauernd leuchtet und
das Ventil nicht auf und zu fährt, steckt
wahrscheinlich noch eine SD-Karte im
Steckplatz. Bitte diese entfernen, das
System startet dann normal.
7. 4. 1 Einlegen des
Absaugschlauchsets

HINWEIS: Mit dem von KARL STORZ als

geeignet bezeichnetem Schlauchset (siehe
Abschnitt 10.2) wird eine optimale Funktion
des S-PILOT™ UP 501 gewährleistet.

Commissioning
1. Press the On/Off switch 1 (see Fig. A).
The status LED of the On/Off switch lights up
green. The tappet of the tube squeeze valve
moves backwards and then forwards. Once the
test has successfully completed, an acoustic
availability signal is emitted (see Section 9.1 –
Acoustic signals).

NOTE: If the status LED of the On/Off
switch 1 is continuously illuminated and
the valve does not open and close when
the device is switched on, an SD card is
probably still in the slot. Please remove it,
the system then starts normally.
7. 4. 1 Inserting the suction
tube set

NOTE: The tubing set which has been
designated as suitable by KARL STORZ (see
Section 10.2) ensures optimal functioning of
the S-PILOT™ UP 501.

WARNING: No responsibility for the safe
operation of the device can be accepted
if any tubing systems other than those
speci ed are used.

WARNING: When inserting the tubing
set, it must be ensured that the tube is
completely inserted.

WARNING: Before you start the
intervention, make sure that the tubing set
is not leaking or kinked and that the ends
of the tubes are properly secured.

Puesta en marcha
1. Accione el interruptor de conexión/
desconexión 1 (véase la fig. A).
El diodo luminoso de estado del interruptor de
conexión/desconexión está encendido de color
verde. El empujador de la válvula de compre-
sión para tubo flexible retrocede y, a continua-
ción, vuelve a avanzar. Si el test automático
concluye con éxito, se emite una señal acústica
de estado dispuesto (véase la sección 9.1,
"Señales acústicas").

NOTA: Si después de conectar el aparato
el diodo luminoso de estado del interruptor
de conexión/desconexión 1 se enciende de
forma permanente y la válvula no se abre ni
se cierra, probablemente hay todavía una
tarjeta SD insertada en la ranura prevista al
efecto. Extraiga dicha tarjeta e inicie enton-
ces el sistema de la forma habitual.
7. 4. 1 Montaje del set de tubos flexibles
de succión

NOTA: El uso del set de tubos exibles que
KARL STORZ ha identi cado como idóneo
permite asegurar un funcionamiento óptimo
de la válvula S-PILOT™ UP 501 (véase la
sección 10.2).

CUIDADO: En el caso de utilizarse otros
sistemas de tubos exibles diferentes a los
prescritos, no se podrá asumir ninguna
garantía en cuanto a la seguridad de fun-
cionamiento del equipo.

CUIDADO: Al montar el set de tubos exi-
bles hay que asegurarse de que el tubo
exible quede insertado por completo.

CUIDADO: Antes de comenzar la inter-
vención, asegúrese de que el set de tubos
exibles no presenta fugas ni está doblado
y que los extremos de los tubos exibles
están correctamente sujetos.
