OLT port
The S3600-2P-OLT provides two 1000Base-PX EPON OLT ports to connect the optical network units
(ONUs) through the optical distribution network (ODN), thus forming an EPON access system.

Uplink Port
The S3600-2P-OLT provides two 100Base-FX/1000Base-X SFP ports, which work in conjunction with
the two provided 10/100/1000Base-T autosensing Ethernet ports (RJ-45) to form two combo ports for
uplink connections. Only one of the two ports forming a compo port can be used at a time.
The two ports forming a combo port serve as backup for each other. Once the active port fails, data is
automatically switched to the standby port for transmission, thus ensuring high network availability.
You can plug in SFP transceiver on the SFP interfaces as needed, increasing the networking flexibility.
