    Each adapter ships with several numbers clearly marked on the circuit board. Record the following numbers before installation. Serial number – Assigned by Emulex. Use this number when communicating with Broadcom Technical Support.  IEEE address – An IEEE unique 64-bit identifier used for system configuration.
