Broadcom recommends recording these numbers before installation. Serial number – Assigned by Broadcom. Use this number when communicating with Broadcom. -

2.1 Preparing the Adapter for Installation The Broadcom Emulex LPe31000-series and LPe32000-series adapters use removable optical transceivers.
