port or discreditable port. Creditable ports can receive and forward the DHCP offer
message; whereas, the discreditable port will lose the DHCP offer message. In so doing,
the switch can pick out the fake DHCP server and make sure that the client gets legal IP
addresses from the DHCP server.
4.8.3.1 Global Setting
To display the Global Setting page, click Security > DHCP Snooping > Global Setting.
This page is used to open the DHCP Snooping function.
DHCP Snooping: Enable or disable the DHCP Snooping function.
4.8.3.2 VLAN Setting
To display the VLAN Setting page, click Security > DHCP Snooping > VLAN Setting.
This page allows you to configure the DHCP Snooping VLAN, enable status on a VLAN,
and move the VLAN from the Available VLANs list to the Enabled VLANs list.
