Removing the keyboard

Prerequisites

1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery (half-length)
3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in
4 Remove the wireless
5 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 5 in
6 Remove the I/O board.
7 Remove the solid-state drive/Intel
8 Remove the coin-cell
9 Remove the system board.

Procedure

1 Remove the eight screws (M1.2x2.4) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Remove the 32 screws (M1.2x1.9) that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
