Disassembling and reassembling the oven door

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before
disassembling the oven door!
During normal use, the construction of the oven door does not allow dirt to get in between the two glass
plates of the double-glazed oven door. Only disassemble and clean the oven door in case it is heavily soiled.
Proceed as follows:
Disassembling the oven door
• Open the oven door.
• Loosen the knurled screw anticlockwise and remove it.
• Loosen the glass plate with the sealing carefully by slightly swaying it and push it to the front.
• Clean the glass plates inside and outside.
Reassembling the oven door
• Place the glass plate with the sealing on the oven door. Push it cautiously towards the oven chamber.
Please make sure that the glass plate sits above the middle pressure bracket and below the two outer
retaining brackets. The glass plate must be flush with the screw fixing.
• Check that the sealing is seated correctly all around and press it on again if necessary.
• Insert the knurled screw and fasten it hand-tight clockwise.
• Close the oven door.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down
before cleaning!
• Never immerse appliance, power cord and plug in water, nor
clean them under running water!
• The non-stick coating of the oven chamber makes cleaning very easy. Wipe the casing, the oven chamber
and the oven door with a moist cloth and wipe it dry afterwards.
• The crumb tray is removable and can be cleaned in hot dishwater.
• Clean the accessories in warm water with some dishwashing detergent or in the dishwasher.
• Make sure no steam or water may get into the appliance from below!
• Never use abrasives, solvents or sharp and pointed objects!
• Do not use steel wool or abrasive pads!
• Do not use oven cleaner spray
• Never use a steam jet appliance for cleaning appliance and accessories!
