Important! Insert the baking tray into the lowest insertion level. Dripping fat will be
collected and the appliance stays clean. Furthermore, we recommend fi lling the baking tray
half with water. The rising steam makes the meat especially tender.
Upper heat with circulating air
For preparing casseroles and gratins, which require a crusty surface. For grilling meat
(e. g. steaks, sausages, rolled roast, chicken) and for gratinating. A fan can be set in addition,
which will distribute the heat evenly inside the oven chamber.

collected and the appliance stays clean. Furthermore, we recommend fi lling the baking tray
half with water. The rising steam makes the meat especially tender.
Lower heat
Use this function to complete the cooking of dishes, which already show a suffi cient
browning of their surface.
Lower heat with circulating air (pizza function)
This function is perfect for all dishes that should get a crispy bottom like pizza, tartes, oven
fries etc. We recommend to use the function "upper and lower heat" (with or without
circulating air) at fi rst and then, for the last 5 minutes, changing over to this function. A fan
evenly distributes the heat inside the oven chamber.
Keep warm level
This function heats the oven chamber up to 65 °C and keeps this temperature level inside the
oven chamber. Perfect for keeping warm your dishes.
Defrost level
This function heats the oven chamber up to ca. 45 °C. A fan distributes the heat inside the
oven chamber in order to defrost food in a gentle way. This function does not require a
temperature setting.
Time-controlled and/or permanent operation
The timer can be set in a operating time range of up to 2 hours. After the set time has run down, the
appliance will stop automatically.
For a longer operation time, set the timer to "on" position (manual operation, no auto cut-off). This allows
for an operating time of up to 4 hours in case no key gets touched (internal time limitation function).
Prolong the operating time by touching any key.

Operating time limitation

In permanent operation mode, the operating time is restricted to 4 hours in case no touch key was
activated during that time. The appliance will stop automatically. This feature adds to high safety in use.

Acoustic signal at the end of operation

When the timer has run down, there is a threefold signal tone and the display shows "0:00". The oven
automatically switches back to mode "on" and stops heating. The oven lamp will commence glowing for
10 minutes.
