11. Commissioning

The system should be commissioned by a competent person, trained by Eaton.
The person should possess a basic knowledge and understanding of Section 2 and
Section 3 of the BS 5839-9: 2011 standard.

11.1 Wiring check

Cable readings should be recorded. Consult local regulations.
On completion of the wiring, or sections of the wiring, the installer should carry out
tests to ensure the integrity of cable insulation and adequate earth connections.
These tests must to be carried out with the equipment disconnected,
and prior to completion of the entire installation.
Ensure connections do not become loose while mounting units.
