Switch Settings (#I SSSW)
A bit switch consists of 8 bits, used for registeringlsetting an item. The switch is config-
ured as follows, and each bit is always either ' 0 ' or
'1':

Use it to specify whether or not to generate a service error code. If set to 'l', a service er-
ror code will be indicated on the report.

Use it to specify whether or not to generate an error dump list. When set to 'l', an error
dump list will be attached to an error TX report or a
RX
report generated in the event of an
error.
[Bit 71
Use it to impose or not impose restrictions on user settings. If set to
'O',
certain items can-
not be set by the user, depending on the country setting. If set to 'l', on the other hand, all
items may be set by the user, regardless of the country setting.
