Before use
Before the blender is used for the first time, read through the instruction manual carefully and
save it for later use.
Wash the glass jug, lid and inner cover in water and some detergent. The knife in the
bottom of the jug is very sharp and should be handled carefully. The knive can be
dismantled and washed separately, loosen the lockingring from the jug and carefully
remove the knife and rubber packing. Now the knife, lockingring and rubber packing
can be washed with care.
Use
The blender can be used to mix, chop, mashing and blending for example milkshakes, baby
food, soups and sauces. You can also use it to crush ice.
The blender can be put together by first placing the rubber packing over the knife (fig 1),
then place the knife with packing in the lockingring (fig 2). The jug is placed ontop of the knife
in the lockingring (fig 3). Turn the jug clockwise. Make sure it´s locked. Place the jug on the
motorunit, now the blender is ready for use.
The motor of the blender operate the knives in high speed to guarantee the best result pos-
sible. It is therefore important that you place the blender on a plane and dry surface before
use. Check that the jug is correctly placed on the motor unit, if not the blender will not start.
Note that the blender should only be operated for 60 seconds at a time, then wait for 5 min-
utes before continuing.
To avoid overfilling the jug, the max level should be 0,8 liter. Use the level indicator on the
jug for reference. Place lid and inner cover on the jug before start. Check that the switch
is in "0" position and then plug the appliance. Turn the switch to desired setting for a few
