Handling
•
Handle the hose carefully. Do not pull on it. Do not
allow the hose to kink. Keep it away from sharp edges.
•
Do not drop the monitor or treat it roughly in any way.
Avoid strong vibrations.
•
The cuff contains a sensitive air-tight bubble. Handle
carefully and avoid twisting, buckling, or other stress.
Replacing Batteries
When it is time to replace the batteries,
the display.
CAUTION
!
Do not allow batteries to run out of charge inside the
monitor. This will damage the monitor. Always replace
batteries once
appears on the display.
Use 4 new 1.5V AAA long-life, alkaline batteries. If using
reusable batteries, only use "NiMH" reusable batteries.
To replace the batteries:
1.
Turn the monitor upside down and remove the battery
compartment cover.
2.
Remove the batteries and insert new batteries.
Note: If using rechargeable batteries, follow the
manufacturer's instructions to recharge the batteries.
3.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note:
•
Taking out the batteries will reset the date and time
but will not delete saved results. To reset the date
and time, see Setting the Date and Time (page
17).
•
Battery life depends on the frequency and amount
will blink on
of use. If battery life is unusually reduced, contact
Customer Support (see page 42).
•
Dispose of batteries and electronic instruments in
accordance with local applicable regulations, not
with domestic waste.
•
Using the micro USB power cable will not take
power away from the batteries.
•
Do not use batteries past their expiration date.
