ANSWER: No, if the HDD is new or not configured with RAID.
But, if the HDD has been configured with RAID, you still can see the RAID BIOS during POST.

ANSWER: No. the minimum hard drive required is two to configure the Intel Onboard SAS/SATA

ANSWER: The disk write cache is enabled by default.
You can change it in Device Manager. Please launch Device Manager, and select the properties
of volume in Disk drives and select Policies. Please check/uncheck Enable write caching
on the device and click OK.
You can also check the disk write cache setting through RAID utility.
