be rebuilt automatically. In the RAID Utility, it indicates the HDD as (Foreign)
Unconfigured Good.
ANSWER: Please insert a new HDD which was not configured as RAID. Or, please install the
original HDD into another RAID card and clear/delete its RAID configuration before you
insert it into the degraded RAID.
That is, if the HDD is new or has not been configured as RAID, the RAID can be rebuilt
automatically.
If you re-plug back the original removed HDD, RAID card will detect "Foreign" RAID
configuration on that HDD. In that case, RAID card will wait for user to confirm next
step. Then, you need to follow below procedure to manually rebuild the RAID.
a. Please launch the RAID utility.
Right click the HDD marked as "(Foreign) Unconfigured Good" and select Replace Missing

Drive.
c. Click "OK" at pop up Windows, the drive will become "Offline"
