1. What memory technology does Altos T350 F2 support?
ANSWER: DDR3 1600 registered or load reduced DIMM.
NOTE. Memory speed will depends on the Intel Xeon E5-2600 series processor as the memory
controller is integrated in the processor itself. Different processor supports different
max memory speed, from DDR3-1600 to DDR3-1066.
NOTE. Memory speed will be very according to # of DIMMs installed per memory channel, voltage
of DIMM and rank # of DIMM. This is the limitation of Intel Xeon E5-2600 series processor
as the memory controller is integrated in the processor itself.
2. Can I install FB-DIMM memory on Altos T350 F2?
ANSWER: No, Altos T350 F2 can only support DDR3 1600 RDIMM or LRDIMM.
3. Can Altos T350 F2 support DDR2 800 UDIMM?
ANSWER: No. Altos T350 F2 can only support DDR3 1600 RDIMM or LRDIMM.
4. How many DIMM slots can Altos T350 F2 support?
ANSWER: 8 DIMM slots pre processor
When there are two processors, Altos T350 F2 can support 16 DIMM.
When there is only one processor, Altos T350 F2 can support 8 DIMM. (In this case, DIMM
installed at DIMM slots E1, E2, F1, F2, G1, G2, H1 and H2 cannot be detected).
