Faults/troubleshooting
Problem: Pump runs when the valve insert is transitioning
(turning).
Possible causes
Pump is not connected
correctly.
Problem: Pump is still in operation following backwash/rinse and
actuator remains in this position (pool is drained).
Possible causes
Relay overloaded or stuck.
Problem: Small, blue sprocket is faulty (as seen from the side of
the mechanism; the sprocket is not picked up).
Possible causes
Valve insert overloaded.
Electrical connection fault at
the pump.
Unfavourable installation
conditions (height difference).
Notice: The sprocket on the motor can be replaced by
experienced repair companies (in this case the manufacturer's
warranty is no longer valid). The motor is removed upwards. The
blue sprocket and a heavy duty dowel pin are necessary parts.
Following replacement, the device starts as usual.

Connect the pump
correctly.
Solution
Tap the relay lightly with
the finger.
Send the actuator with
valve lid to the
manufacturer.
VS pumps should only be
wired via the control
cable.
Solution
Send the actuator with
valve lid to the manu-
facturer for inspection.
Check electrical
connections using the
operation manual.
Check the installation
situation; if necessary
integrate a special SPECK
non-return valve
(240.9102.063).
