6.5.3 Accessing the basic Boot menu

If the extended Boot ROM segment has corrupted, you can repair or upgrade it from the
basic Boot menu.
Press <Ctrl+D> within 1 seconds after the "Press Ctrl+D to access BASIC BOOT MENU"
prompt message appears. If you fail to do this within the time limit, the system starts to run
the extended Boot ROM segment.
