Principle
The nebulizers are not sterilized before delivery and
must be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized before first
use.
An effective cleaning / disinfection is imperative for an
effective sterilization of the nebulizer. Please take care
that within the bounds of your responsibility for the
nebulizer's sterility during use only sufficiently validated
procedures appropriate for your nebulizer are applied
for the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization and that
the validated parameters will be kept for each cycle.
In addition, please follow the legislation of your coun-
try as well as the hygiene regulations of the hospital.
Cleaning / Disinfection
Due to the clearly higher effectiveness, a mechanical
procedure (disinfector) should be used if possible. Cle-
an and disinfect immediately after use.
Treatment in ultrasonic bath is not recommended.
Any suitable cleansing agent / disinfectant can be used.

– that the disinfector always has an effectiveness
certificate (EN ISO 15883; CE-labeling),
