8 kHz timing

You can configure the Codirectional DCM to generate 8 kHz timing when a circuit
is disconnected. Generating 8 kHz timing after a circuit is disconnected prevents the
far end from entering the AIS No 8K alarm condition. The AIS No 8K alarm
condition is raised whenever 8 kHz timing is not on the input of a Codirectional
DCM circuit. The two circuits on the Codirectional DCM can be set for:
8 kHz timing upon circuit disconnection (8K_TIMING)
no 8 kHz timing upon circuit disconnection (NO_8K) (default)
Procedure 20-4 To configure 8 kHz timing

All Ones alarm indication signal
An AIS All Ones alarm is raised whenever an all ones pattern is received on the input
of a Codirectional DCM circuit. The two circuits on the Codirectional DCM can be
set to:
generate all ones upon circuit disconnection (AIS) (default)
not generate all ones upon circuit disconnection (NO_AIS)
