7. OPERATION

Save your telephone-number (done only once)
The operation of the stove is controlled by SMS commands. These
consist of the reception code you selected (described earlier) and a
command. After correct installation of the GSM set you must save a
valid telephone number on the device. (This is not possible when you
suppress your telephone number.)
In this case the TEL command follows the reception code.
Example-SMS
The device will save the telephone
1234 TEL
number and send a confirmation
(Note the SPACE
message back (MOBILE NUMBER „your

number" OK).
command)
Now you are able to set the stove to another operating mode by using
SMS-commands.
Note
You are also able to save a new number by sending a TEL code
again.
You also can send commands without registering a telephone number
using simply the reception code. In this case you will get back a
message „Please save TEL. number" in your answer-SMS.
Caution:
If no telephone number is stored at the device you will not receive
any message in case of errors.
The simplest command is switching ON and OFF:
Example SMS:
Device ON with presetting (operating

mode and setting maintained from
previous operation, e.g. HEAT 35,

Device OFF
Commands - Control panel
Additional you also have the possibility to change the mode of
operating. If there is a room sensor installed, you can switch between
three different modes. (HEAT / ROOM / AUTO)
You simply write the command after the reception code and a space.

In addition to changing the mode of operation you can also enter and
change the operation values of HEAT and ROOM per SMS. (Heat output
in % in HEAT mode and room temperature in C° in ROOM mode).
You write the required value behind the initial letters of the operating
mode (h for HEAT and r for ROOM).
Switch to selected operating mode (ROOM).
Example SMS
Device setting changed to the required setting
1234 r21
e.g. 21°C room set temperature.
Switch to selected operating mode (HEAT).
Example SMS:
Device setting changed to the required setting
1234 h65
e.g. 65% heat out-put.
In automatic mode the settings of the room temperature are not
possible. Changes must be carried out directly at the device.
SMS Replies - Control Panel
On activation of the SMS option each change of state is acknowledged
by an SMS reply. When you send a SMS message to your RIKA pellet
