Troubleshooting

If there are frequent misfeeds:

The problem occurs because the sheets are not loaded in the feed tray properly.

Check whether the

Check Points
The sheets being used
are too thin or too thick.
Check that the feed
roller assembly is
attached properly.
Check whether the
feed table adjusting
lever is properly set.
Set the double feed stop
plate pressure properly.
Check whether the
feed roller is stained
with ink.
Misfeed happens after cleaning of the feed roller.

feed roller is worn out.

Within specifications
- Only use sheets which are within the
specification. Do not fold NCR paper,
heavy paper (more than 127 gsm, 34#
bond, or 85# book), or coated paper.

roller shaft are attached properly.

- The feed table pressure is too weak.

- If the pressure is set to Normal, change the
setting to Strong.
