- Page 3 SPC200-SMX-1 Benutzerhinweise Die Schrittmotor-Indexer-Baugruppe Typ SPC200-SMX-1 dient bestimmungsgemäß zur Anschaltung eines Schrittmotors an den Smart Positioning Controller SPC200. Die Schrittmotor- Indexer-Baugruppe stellt Anschlüsse für Referenz- und End- schalter sowie für eine Schrittmotor-Leistungsansteuerung zur Verfügung. - Page 4 SPC200-SMX-1 Ein- und Ausbau von Baugruppen VORSICHT: Unsachgemäße Handhabung kann zur Beschädigung der Baugruppen führen. • Berühren Sie keine Bauelemente. • Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elektro- statisch gefährdete Bauelemente. • Entladen Sie sich vor dem Ein- oder Ausbau von Bau- gruppen elektrostatisch, zum Schutz der Baugruppen vor Entladung statischer Elektrizität.

Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und in die Führungs- schiene einschieben. Achten Sie darauf, daß Sie die Bau- gruppe beim Einschieben nicht verkanten und keine Bauteile auf der Leiterplatte beschädigt werden.

SPC200-SMX-1 Installation WARNUNG: Verwenden Sie nur Netzteile, die eine sichere elektrische Trennung der Betriebsspannung nach IEC 742/EN 60742/ VDE 0551 mit mindestens 4 kV Isolationsfestigkeit gewähr- leisten (Protected Extra-Low Voltage, PELV). Schaltnetzteile sind zulässig, wenn sie die sichere Trennung im Sinne der EN 60950/VDE 0805 gewährleisten. - Page 7 SPC200-SMX-1 Beschaltung Sensorstecker (Anschluß SIGNALS, X31) HINWEIS: Beachten Sie die verschiedenen Ausführungen der Kontakte für die Endschalter und den Referenzschalter. LIM+ LIM- 24 V 24 V Öffner (N.C., normal closed) Schließer (N.O., normal open) Die Genauigkeit des Referenzpunkts hängt vom verwendeten Referenzschalter ab.
- Page 8 Die Bezeichnung der Anschlüsse bezieht sich auf die Leistungs- ansteuerungen aus den Festo Antriebspaketen. Verwenden Sie zum Anschluß der Leistungsansteuerung z.B. das zugehörige Kabel von Festo, Typ KSMX-SM5-... Verbinden Sie den Kabelschirm auf beiden Seiten mit dem Steckergehäuse, wenn ein selbstkonfektioniertes Kabel verwen- den.

- Page 11 SPC200-SMX-1 User instructions Stepping motor indexer module type SPC200-SMX-1 has been designed for interfacing a stepping motor to the SPC200 Smart Positioning Controller. The stepping motor indexer module pro- vides connections for reference switches and end switches, as well as as for a stepping motor power controller.
- Page 12 SPC200-SMX-1 Fitting and removing the modules CAUTION Modules can be damaged by incorrect handling. • Do not touch any of the components. • Observe the regulations for handling components which are affected by electrostatic charges. • Discharge yourself electrostatically before fitting or removing modules, in order to protect the components against discharges of static electricity.
- Page 13 SPC200-SMX-1 Fitting the stepping motor indexer module 1. Switch off the compressed air supply and the operating volt- age. 2. Grasp the module by the front plate and push it into the guide rail. Be careful not to tilt the module when sliding it into the slot and make sure that none of the components on the printed circuit board are damaged.
- Page 14 SPC200-SMX-1 Installation WARNING Use only power units which guarantee reliable isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC 742 / EN 60742 / VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resistance (protected extra low voltage, PELV). Switch power packs are permitted if they guarantee reliable isolation in accordance with EN 60950 / VDE 0805.

- Page 16 The designation of the pins refers to the power controllers from the Festo drive packages. Use the appropriate cable, type KSMX-SM5-... , from Festo for connecting the power controller to the control plug. If you are using a ready-made cable, connect the cable screening on both sides to the plug housing.
