5.5.5.1 Changing Where Wires Exit
Connector Housing
The Model 1035 Green Sense Harness is shipped
with the wires exiting straight out the back of the
connector housing as shown in Figure 5-15. If this
configuration causes interference problems, you
can reconfigure the connector so that the wires exit
from the bottom of the connector. Perform the
following steps:
1. Remove the screws and open the cover.
2. Lift the wiring harness away from the
connector housing.

Swap positions of the strain relief and blank
insert. See Figure 5-16.
Bend the wiring harness and place it in the
connector housing so that the wires exit the
bottom as shown in Figure 5-16. Be sure that all
of the wires are contained in the strain relief and
are not being pinched by the connector cover.
Close the cover and secure it to the base with the
screws removed in step 1.
