Operation

The power mains voltage must correspond to the operating voltage on the type
label.

Intended Operation

The double grinder is designed for wet and dry grinding.
The two vitrified bonded grinding wheels are suitable for grinding metal and
hard metal.

Dry Grinding

The grinder is equipped with a wet and a dry coarse grinding wheel.
1. Turn the unit on with the ON/OFF switch. Both grinding wheels are
simultaneously driven by the motor. The lamp is turned on together with
the motor. When using the unit for the first time, operate it for 5 minutes
without load.
2. Always rest the work piece on the work piece support during work. Without
the support you might loose control of the work piece and it may even be
thrown from your hand.
Do not hold the work piece against the wheel in a sharp angle against the
rotating direction of the wheel. A kickback may result.
The work piece may become very hot during machining. This may lead to
a change in the material properties of the work piece. Therefore, allow the
work piece to cool down during machining.

Wet Grinding

1. For wet grinding, fill the through in which the wet grinding wheel rotates
with water up to just under the edge.
2. Add water into the through until the grinding wheel does not absorb any
more water. The wheel is now ready for use.
3. You can use the grinding wheel to grind with or against the rotating
direction. For more comfortable operation a row of steps is moulded into
the edge of the trough.
4. To drain the water, just pull out the drain plug.
