Before Operation
1.
Check the wet grinder for transport damage. Attach the included rubber feet
to the underside of the machine.
2.
Fill the water container with water. The grinding stone will soak up water, so
add fresh water until the stone is permanently immerged in the water about
10 mm deep.
3.
Make sure the unit is turned off when the power plug is plugged in.
Replacing the Grinding Stone
1.
Pull the power plug and empty the water container.
2.
Loosen the securing nut with a hex spanner by turning counter clockwise.
3.
Now slide the grinding stone off the shaft and slide the new stone onto the
shaft.
4.
Put the nut back onto the shaft and tighten.
5.
Test run the new grinding stone to make sure it is properly fitted to the shaft.
Maintenance
Regularly clean dust and other contaminations off the machine. Especially the
ventilation louvers of the motor must be free.
Preferably use a soft brush or a cloth, which may be lightly moistened to
clean the housing. Do not use aggressive chemicals, those may damage the
surface.
After use, empty the water container. Prolonged contact with water may
cause damage to the grinding stone.
In the case of a malfunction do not attempt to repair the unit yourself but
contact the Westfalia customer support department.
