(4) Adjustment
. . . . . Adjustment Using DFP-D3000 LCD Panel
To adjust, open the "LIPSYNC" sub menu from the
"CONFIG" menu of the LCD panel menu.

. To open the LIPSYNC sub menu, a password is
required.
(Password at factory setting : SDDS)
. For details of setting at the LCD panel menu, refer to
the DFP-D3000/R3000 OPERATION MANUAL.
1) At the "COARSE" item of the LIPSYNC sub
menu, roughly adjust the delay amount (about 2 or
3 seconds) of the physical position of the DFP-
R3000 installed to the projector in frames.
2) While listening to the Lch and Rch signals of the
HEADPHONES, set the "COARSE" item and
"FINE" (FINE DELAY adjustment, adjust by 1
ms) item on the LIPSYNC sub menu, and adjust
so that the Lch and Rch signals are synchronized.

Adjustment by SDDS Setup Software

Install the SDDS setup software for the DFP-D3000
in the PC. This software is provided on a floppy
disk. After starting the computer, double click
INSTALL.EXE on the floppy disk, and follow the
instructions at the installation screen to complete
installation of the SDDS setup software.
1) Start the computer, and wait for the Windows
screen to appear.
2) Click "Start", and then "Program". Click "DFP-
3000" and then "DFP-3000 Setup".
3) When the DFP-D3000 System Setup screen
appears, click "Connect to DFP..." at the Config
menu.
4) The screen will prompt for the Serial No. Enter
the serial No. of the DFP-D3000 used.
The DFP-D3000 will be connected to enable
editing of data set and viewing of operations of
the unit.

5) Click "Master SDDS Settings" at the Master
Menu of the DFP-D3000 System Setup screen.
