    • “Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo” • “Memory Stick Micro” (“M2”) “MagicGate” is the general name of a copyright protection technology developed by Sony. Recording or playback of MagicGate data that uses MagicGate technology is not supported. 4-bit parallel data transfer is supported and the data read/write timing will vary depending on the medium.

    Parts and Functions Front Access Indicator This indicator is always lit.     Connecting the Reader/Writer to a Computer Simply connect the reader/writer to a computer using the supplied USB cable. Start the computer. Connect the smaller connector of the USB cable to the USB port on the rear of the reader/writer. Connect the larger connector of the USB cable to the USB port on the computer.

    Reading and Writing Data on a Memory Card x For Windows other than Windows 7 The following explanation is illustrated with screens from Windows XP. The screens may differ for other versions of Windows. Open [My Computer]. Make sure the removable disk icons appear in [My Computer].
