Proper grounding (grounding) is very important to protect the equipment against the harmful effects of external noise and to reduce the risk of electrocution in the event of a lightning strike. After you install the hard drives, make sure the SATA data cables and SATA power cables are connected to the designated connectors on the motherboard, as indicated in the picture below.

Loosen the screw indicated in the picture and slide the tray downwards to have it loosened from the four latching spots.
