6.11 Check the tamper foot

Check the oil level
Caution
!
Stand the tamper of level ground for a short
while, so that all oil can run into the housing.
For quality of oil refer to the "table of fuels and
lubricants".

Clean the sight glass (Fig. 41).

Check the oil level.

The oil must be visible in the inspection glass,

top up if necessary.
Check the concertina wall

Check concertina wall for condition, damage

and tight fit.

Maintenance every month
Check hose clamps for tight fit (Fig. 42).

Retighten the screws in the tamper
foot plate
