Always shut the engine down to transport the

tamper or to lay it on its side.
Lay down the tamper (Fig. 30) to transport it on

the rollers.
Lash the tamper down to the transport vehicle,
l
so that it is secured against rolling, sliding and
turning over.

For loading the machine attach the lifting gear

only to the lifting eye provided for this purpose
(Fig. 31).
