Building a SN-KZPCA-AA Windows NT Driver
Diskette
Compaq recommends that you use the Symbios SDMS Software Device Driver
and Utilities CD supplied with the SN-KZPCA-AA SCSI controller to build a
driver diskette. This diskette will be necessary if you need to rebuild the disk
from scratch.
Using Windows Explorer, locate and follow the instructions on the CD to
build a Windows NT driver diskette for 8xx devices on Alpha systems. Label
the diskette and store it in a safe place for future use.

Update Utility
Use the update utility to update your SRM firmware. The update utility
contains two images: the update utility itself and the SRM image.
Using the Flash Update Utility from the SRM
Console
To update the firmware from the SRM console, do the following:
1. Insert the Firmware Update CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
2. Type the show device command to determine the device ID of the CD-
ROM drive.
