• Perform the inspection in accordance with the following flowchart.
Warning lamp lit
Vehicle in service shop
Read all (past and present) diagnosis codes by Multi-Use Tester. (See Gr00.)
Perform inspection based on diagnosis codes. (See later section.)

Response to transient fault
Was able to identify the fault?

Rectify or replace with new parts.
Clear stored diagnosis code. (See Gr00.)
