BATCH MODE

While files can be manually selected using the Interactive Mode, Flash BIOS Update or Copy
can be achieved through Batch Mode.
The command line format is as follows:
UBIOS -B [operation] [filetype] [filename] [options] where:
specifies that this is a Batch Mode command.
-B
[operation]
is the Flash BIOS operation you wish to perform, and can be replaced
with one of three letters:
U
C
V
[filetype]
is the filetype of the BIOS file to program (with an update operation) or
to create (with a copy operation), and can be replaced with one of the
following:
ALL
VGA
SCSI
LAN
[filename]
is the name of the BIOS file (including the extension) to program (with
an update operation) or to create (with a copy operation), and can be
replaced with the filename which corresponds to the filetype. For
example, if "VGA" was listed as filetype, then the filename could be
"FLAT.BFP".
these are optional parameters that may be added:
[options]
/C
/R
/?
for Update,
for Copy, or
for Verify (used to compare the contents of the Flash BIOS
device and the specified BIOS file).
for All BIOS files in a single file with the .BIN extension,
for VGA BIOS file with the .VGA or .BFP extension,
for SCSI BIOS file with the .BIN extension,
for LAN BIOS file with the .BIN extension.
This option will not clear the CMOS Setup when updating main
BIOS (AMIBIOS), however this is not recommended since the
CMOS Setup should be updated when the main BIOS is
changed.
Instructs UBIOS to reset the board upon completion of an
operation.
To get a summary of the Batch Mode options from UBIOS. It
will display a Batch options summary of valid UBIOS
command lines. The same help information will also be
displayed each time UBIOS detects an error in the command
line.
