11.2 Data backup of the user archives
Examples of triggers
The engineering tool generates the following three triggers for material master data when two
material classes are defined:
● FB_MMBackupTriggerEN.pas
Backs up the configuration/engineering archives FB_MATCLASS, FB_MATTYPE_001,
FB_MATTYPE_002, FB_MATATTRIB_001, FB_MATATTRIB_002.
● FB_MMBackupTriggerRT1.pas
Backs up the runtime archive FB_MATERIAL_001.
● FB_MMBackupTriggerRT2.pas
Backs up the runtime archive FB_MATERIAL_002.
11.2.2
Storage at the backup path
Backups in subfolders are generated by module and daily for each module.
Name of module subfolders
● Material management:
● Material lot management:
● Storage location management:
● Parameter set management:
● Archive management:
Name of day-based subfolders
<Year><Month><Day>, e.g. 20130115 for January 15, 2013
Note
To avoid problems with the day-based subfolders, you should not run backups for the individual
archives at midnight (or midnight + / - 10 minutes), as a backup which has actually been
triggered for multiple archives together may otherwise be copied to various different subfolders.
Naming convention for the backup files
sav_<Year><Month><Day>_<Time>_<Archive name>,
e.g., sav_130115_183059_Archiving_004
250
FB_MAT
FB_MATLOT
FB_STOR
FB_PARAM
