  • Page 3 09931488A Figure 4 Loosening the Accessory Fixing Bolt Pull out the cell holder by hand. Figure 5 Pulling Out the Cell Holder After checking the pogo pin position of the sample compartment, attach the Variable Angle Solid Sample Holder to the pogo pin. Tighten the accessory fixing bolt.

    09931488A P recision Cell I nstallation Procedure 1. For powder sample, use the Precision Cell provided with the Variable Angle Solid Sample Holder. 2. Load the powder sample on the base of lower cover. 3. Place the screw top cover on the lower cover and tighten the precision cell by turning the screw cap clockwise.
  • Page 6 09931488A 2. Check if incident angle is proper. If incident angle get out of recommended incident angle (30 ~70˚) or sample position get out of center, fluorescence intensity measured low because sample is not adequately struck by beam.
