The spare wheel should have the highest tyre pressure deter‐
mined for the vehicle.
4.9 Brake system: Perform visual check for
leaks and damage
– Check following components for leaks and damage:
♦ Brake servo,
♦ for anti-lock brake system: hydraulic unit,
♦ Brake calipers,
♦ Brake master cylinder.
Perform the following jobs:
– Make sure that brake hoses are not twisted ⇒ Brake hydraulic
system, regulator, booster; Rep. gr. 47 .
– In addition, make sure that brake hoses do not contact other
components across entire steering range.
– Check brake hoses for porosity or brittleness.
– Check brake hoses and lines for chafing.
