For best performance, CPI terminators (supplied in GRANITE Network Kit) are usually installed in
the open CPI ports at both ends of a daisy-chain network. But a half-terminated bus is also
allowed by using only the resistors at the data logger end of the network. For more information

A star topology uses a passive RJ45 hub, such as the HUB-CPI, to connect multiple GRANITE
